The family of a minor who received severe wounds after being hurled from the tenth level of the art gallery have announced their "little knight" has achieved his goal of succeeding to run, jump, and swim once more.

The young boy was six years old when he was pushed off a balcony by a youth, at that time 17 years old.

He, who was vacationing with the parents in 2019 when attacked, lived through a 30-meter drop but experienced significant wounds, like a brain hemorrhage and broken bones.

Relatives stated in an progress report on a crowdfunding site, they were delighted that he had been capable to progress with his jumping, swimming and running before his upcoming procedure.

"He is unable to do it similar to youngsters his age, of course, but we are unable to portray his actions in different terms than by terming it's running, jumping, and swimming."

"It's different, only over a few meters or a very small height, but it's an remarkable success."

The boy, who passed months in critical care, has continued to develop cognitive endurance.

Parents said although his recollection capacity were yet very limited, they were effective and improving, so he was "gaining a general knowledge at his speed, which increasingly allows him to be integrated with peers."

'Objective Met'

Parents noted: "He is also maturing, and thanks to his therapy with the physical therapist, he now allows himself to relax."

"Following several step-by-step practice runs, they finally achieved their 2.5 hour trip. They returned exhausted but overjoyed. Goal achieved."

After a trial at the Old Bailey, the youth was convicted of attempted murder and was jailed in 2020 for a minimum of 15 years.
